If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my recent post about removing backgrounds from images. I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Social Media Marketing Examiner, and they were talking about a cool website called remove.bg that helps you remove the background from any photo for free in 5 seconds with the use of artificial intelligence. And it does it even better than a lot of avid Photoshop users can do it. So, I put myself on the beach!

Get the most use out of a great photo by removing the background and reusing the image

• To remove the background from your image, first go to remove.bg. Then either download a photo or input the URL of a photo that you found online. Within 5 seconds, the background of the photo is removed. You can then download the image to your computer or to your phone for future use.
• Add different backgrounds to your photo. Remove.bg has backgrounds that you can choose from, or you can use your own. I recommend Pexels or Pixabay to find free, large stock photos and backgrounds. Add the to photo as the new background of the transparent image you created. And, voila! You are now enjoying your fakation at the beach, and all of your friends are jealous.
• Your image can have multiple uses throughout your marketing campaigns. You can reuse the image on your existing website, in social media marketing ads, or on print materials.

Remember, don't simply search Google Images for photos. Most of the images found on Google Images are copyrighted. If you use someone else’s copyrighted material on your own major campaign, you could get sued for monetary damages or have to give up your profits to the copyright owner as restitution.
